Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 1970s where she learned the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. Lennox was able to survive on an allowance for students, and worked part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox did not feel happy with the quality of her performance compared with other students at the Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox was initially a flute-player within the band Dragons Playground. However, she left before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. Between 1977 and 1980, she was the lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop band. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began to work on her first solo album Diva that was released in 1992. The album was an enormous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tracks. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox published Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album, which was released in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox is a Scottish artist and singer born on the 25th of December 1954. At the end of the 70s, Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while members of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. Lennox launched her solo career by releasing her first album Diva in the year 1992. The album was the inspiration of many hit songs like Walking through the Broken Glass. Medusa the album from 1995 studio, features covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous as well as The Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer is acknowledged with six studio albums solo as well as a compilation.
