Mrs. Rivas possesses over thirteen years experience as a licensed clinical social worker who is bilingual and multicultural. She has worked with diverse populations including LGBTQ+, those dealing problems with addiction, victims of sexual assault as well as intimate partners violence. Since 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. She is now offering telehealth mental health services. Ms. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal Team which focuses on postpartum and pregnant women. She is a specialist in trauma-informed care and offers the EMDR therapy to adults. She also provides Group as well as individual therapy, Medication-assisted treatment program, referral for special care, and Women's Support group. Amanda works with Best Friends Animal Society to assist homeless animals in finding homes. Amanda believes in the slogan from Best Friends, "Save Them all" And she's determined to turn Los Angeles into a city that doesn't kill animals.
